What do I need for MAPS/Study Skills each day?

How do grades work in this class?
Grades in this class will be assigned as major, participation, or skills development. Each day, we will do a short lesson together to focus on executive functioning skills, study skills, and social-emotional learning skills. These short lessons will require each student to collaborate with their partner, small group, or the whole class and will be counted as participation and skills development grades. The other component of this course focuses on supporting students in their other classes. Because of that, each student is expected to come to MAPS/Study Skills class with assignments to work on and/or materials to study. This preparation along with the successful maintenance of a Calendar/Planner system will make up each student's grade.
